Job Description

Vacancy: Director of Events Management Department 

  • Purpose: The jobholder is responsible for developing, planning, implementation, and oversight of designated events, external events that we might be interested in, programs, and organizational gatherings, including developing and maintaining effective working relationships. 
  • The primary function is as a professional individual contributor, providing specialized expertise in event development and organization, communication, and public relations, utilizing independent judgment in making administrative and procedural decisions.
  • He/she must be a self-started team player, willing to tackle “other duties as assigned” to ensure the overall success and sustainability of organization events. In addition, manage team supervisors and leaders for office functions such as set up, moves, work orders, and communication with customers.
  • Principal Accountabilities: - 
  • Maintaining oversight of events according to events policies and procedures 
  • Coordinate with the event management staff member and other heads of departments to provide the support and to ascertain of the needs according to the nature of each event
  • Assist in establish an events feedback mechanism to understand the success level of each event oversee and track this feedback and utilize in future programming 
  • Collaboration with the event’s organizers – operations and planning within the coordination process with various departments including security, health and safety, maintenance related issues for specific events
  • Communicate marketing material needs and advertising placements, edit and design promotional materials and prepare presentations. 
  • Perform other management, administrative and support duties as required in support of the mission and strategy of the unit. 
  • Maintain all necessary records associated with each event, communicating with the Office of
  • Finance Controller to ensure all revenues are being billed and collected in a timely fashion
  • Compile and review statistical data; develop and prepare various periodical and ad hoc reports, summaries, analyses, and develop an annual report of activities, successes and future plans to be presented to board and funding sources

Job Requirements

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, public relations, hospitality management, business management, digital media, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in planning and executing events of all sizes, ideally for a community organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prioritizing and organizing work
  • Detail-oriented
  • Problem-solving
  • Decision maker
  • Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Willing to take ownership and initiative
     

Visa / work permit situation for the required nationalities ( Syria , Lebanese… etc. ) we will provide the candidate the work permission in Pakistan and the other documents will be determined upon his nationality.
Time frame for joining As long as he is available to start.
