Job Description

  • Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate members' strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall physical condition.
  • Develop personalized workout plans based on clients’ goals, abilities, and medical history.
  • Provide one-on-one and group training sessions while ensuring correct exercise techniques and form.
  • Motivate and encourage clients to stay committed to their fitness programs.
  • Track progress and adjust training plans accordingly to maximize results.
  • Build strong relationships with club members to promote fitness participation.
  • Provide guidance on proper equipment usage and gym etiquette.
  • Address any inquiries or concerns from members in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain a high-energy, engaging, and supportive training environment.
  • Ensure that all exercises and equipment usage adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor the gym floor and assist members when necessary to prevent injuries.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid or CPR if needed.
  • Ensure all training areas, equipment, and facilities are clean and in proper working condition.
  • Report any faulty or damaged gym equipment to the supervisor.
  • Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and exercise techniques by attending workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on improving the club’s fitness offerings.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from a recognized organization (ACE, NASM, ISSA, NSCA, etc.).
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach.
  • Previous experience in a club, gym, or fitness center.
  • Experience in designing and conducting personal and group training sessions.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Ability to assess individual fitness levels and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and fitness coaching.
  • Team player with a client-focused mindset.
  • Professionalism and adherence to ethical standards in personal training.
