Job Description
- Accomplishes warehouse operations human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising,
- Achieves warehouse operational objectives by maintaining company policy’s
- Responsible for the security of all warehouse assets and infrastructure.
- Responsible for investigating stock discrepancies, including negatives, unfound and sold out, and reporting the information to relevant managers
- Drive stock takes at regular frequency and report on results.
- Ensure the highest operational standards are always deployed on floor.
- Ensure the warehouse is compliant with current Health and Safety regulations and that the warehouse team is trained appropriately.
- Manage supplier relationship with all logistics (3PL / transportation company)
- Meets warehouse operations financial objectives (outsourced warehouse , manpower cost) by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate and complete data is entered in the ERP system.
- Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy.
Implement and ensure proper procedures for efficient workflow of Raw , packing Material and final product . - Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Develops warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and; implementing changes.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Job Requirements
- Experience in similar Field: from 13 to 16 years
- Food industry or 3pl previous experience is a must
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration would be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases (ERP, Excel, PPT)
- Has the ability to communicate cross functionally and cross level in efficient and dynamic manner
- Has proactive approach in identifying potential issues and taking initiative to solve them in advance
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff and warehouse workers
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Ability to accurately analyze information
- Deadline-oriented
- Have the ability to develop the team through training process and discipline
- Establish WMS is a plus
