Job Description

Job Purpose:

As the Service Point’s (SP) Customer Services Specialist, you are the first-line personal interaction with our clients after their in-app experience. Your role is to guide, facilitate and conclude buyers’ and sellers’ journeys efficiently, effectively and in a friendly manner in compliance with Mazadat standards and requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Sellers:

  • Ensure a seller dropping off their items have reached the correct SP location as per their schedule
  • Inspect the item before receipt, ensuring its compliance with the sales post on the application back end
  • Store and/or facilitate item storage on physical storage facilities, ensuring the correct tag mark is tagged to the item on our internal systems

 

2. Buyers:

  • Ensure walk-in buyers are assigned to your SP and perform the required control checks before confirming receipt of their items
  • Facilitate the payment process Mazadat provides (cash, POS, e-payment solutions) and ensure payments and deductions are duly completed
  • Conclude the final package fulfillment to the buyers, ensuring items are collected according to the pre-inspection conditions

 

3. Inquiries:

  • Greet customers in a professional manner, ascertaining visit reason/problem
  • Respond to customer inquiries, directing them to the company’s customer contact points as required
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges – accordingly to the case category
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 1-3 years of direct customer service experience, in-person handling of clients is a must
  • Experience included working in stores handling a diverse customer-base, handling cash and payment management
  • Bilingual with good English language command for inquiries and internal systems use
  • Technologically savvy, mobile-app user and e-commerce enthusiast is a great plus!
