Job Description
- Research, Design, Develop, and drawing of firefighting systems with the ability to coordinate with other departments to meet the client’s requirements in accordance with codes and standards.
- Preparation of B.O.Q and specifications.
- Technical clarification with the vendors for their proposed equipment.
- Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation of equipment and highlight positive and negative aspects of the equipment proposed.
- Review and approval of Equipment Material submittals.
- Coordinate the team members to execute the project within time and budget plans
- To handle project shop drawings and coordinate drawings between different disciplines and assist site engineers in clarifying and resolving any technical problem that could arise during the construction caused by designs.
- Support and supervise Junior Shop Drawing engineers to provide technical assistance and/or review, verify, and check drawings, forms, and designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Engineering (Mechanical)
- 3-5 Years of Experience in Firefighting Systems (Oil& Gas Sector Preferred).
- A Team Player with Leadership Abilities and Supervision Skills
- Excellent Knowledge of International/Local Codes and Standards.
- Ability to Work with Multiple Projects
- Ability to make Hydraulic calculations with Elite and Pipenet fire programs.
