Job Description:

Malvern College Egypt (M.C.E) is a fast-growing educational organization that relies heavily on spreading its own publicity and consumer understanding. We are seeking a motivated and savvy content editor to oversee our content publishing needs in a fast-paced work environment. Your primary duties will include content strategy, proofreading and editing, analyzing readership data, and developing our content strategy. Our ideal candidate has the ability to translate data and research into actionable marketing plans that inform branding and campaign development. You should feel comfortable working independently with heavy research and collaborating with consumers and a cross-functional team to ensure powerfully informative insights are collected.

Responsibilities & Assigned Tasks for Editor & Marketing Specialist:

  • Develop, support, and promote college goals, including message development, social media content creation and media outreach
  • Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, and any other communication channels.
  • Analyze the content and messages of Marketing, Admissions, and other departments' texts produced by colleagues and make changes as needed.
  • Determine an efficient marketing mix for MCE, including various marketing campaigns and initiatives, events, sales tools, and public relations.
  • preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films, and multimedia programs.
  • Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing materials that communicates the College's activities, and/or services.
  • Ensure digital marketing content aligns with our college’s identity and message, in addition to assist with marketing campaigns as needed.
  • Working with in-house designers to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines.
  • Responsible for coordinating the planning, organizing, and executing of a series of fun school-wide "family /charity events" during the academic year.
  • Develop an understanding of current and future market trends that may impact student’s enrolment.
  • Implementing, updating the marketing plan, and conducting market research.
  • Research on events that could be conducted at MCE to stand out in the market.
  • Minutes of meetings and preparing agendas.
  • Approach and outsource external entities for partnership and agreements.
