Salamtex has an ever-expanding product range of specialty textiles serving the intimate apparel industry, as well as the medical sector. The company has world-class capabilities of draughting, designing, warping, knitting, dyeing, finishing, flocking, coating, shearing, carbon fishing, scalloping and packing.

Over more than 30 years, Salamtex has expanded into a variety of fields, and established its first dye-house specialized in the lightweight, elastic and technical synthetic fabrics, with a capacity of 120 tons/month. Moreover, it has its own quality, dye lab, and microbiological lab to comply with international standards.

Salamtex has recently expanded into finished garments with it’s own brand “Libra Sport” and serving a select number of customers with finished garments. We are looking for an enthusiastic E commerce Specialist who will coordinate all sales orders for our E commerce websites, platforms and retails partners and expand Libra's presence online.

Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Receive customer orders, create invoices and packing lists
  • Coordinate customer shipment packing with Libra warehouse
  • Check that correct items/ number of items is being dispatched including random shipment quality checks
  • Coordinate shipment delivery with driver/ delivery service (within Egypt + international shipments) and customer
  • Make sure all logistics related paperwork is correct, finished on time and distributed to respective receiver entities
  • Track items entering and leaving the warehouse in Excel and Libra warehouse system (both raw materials & finished goods)
  • Follow up on outstanding payments to Libra
  • Checking production schedule to make sure customer orders are complete
  • Create BOMs for all products including costing
  • Update the stock and products on the online platforms
  • Expand Libra's presence on online platforms and push new e-commerce sales channels
  • Assist on photoshoot preparation
  • Assist the sales team in events when necessary
  • Coordinate with moderator for online orders
  • Handles customer requests, inquiries, and complaints

Job Requirements

  • Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices.
  • Familiar with available e-commerce platforms and how to utilize them
  • Excellent Microsoft word and excel skills, and familiar with ERP warehouse systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Communicates well as a team
