Job Description
- Receive requests for quotation forms from Sales to prepare and send to agents and Co-loaders
- Negotiate to get the best competitive rates, match the target Rates “if any".
- Coordinate with the insurance companies to get the best rates and proper shipment insurance coverage.
- Send routing order to Agent or co-loaders using our shipping instructions form.
- Get booking details, Shipment ETD & ETA and revert to the customer on time.
- Follow up with agents on shipment procedures and ensure receiving proper & correct shipping documents on time.
- Update customers with shipment status in timely manners.
- Adhere to the company internal process related to accurate & on time shipment’s events / costs recording to the system.
- Handle the execution of all types of shipments / import operations based on the shipping term (INCO Terms)
- Submit required reports as per the management requests.
- Support section head in Tenders /RFQs/ Agents & Vendors assessments when requested.
- Support in the training for colleagues when assigned by the management
Job Requirements
