Job Description

  • We are seeking a General Manager for Heat Master, a company that offers innovative heating solutions that provide the utmost comfort and safety.
  • As General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day business operations, estimate projects, schedule jobs in conjunction with field Engineers and supervisors, oversee work on each project and its progress, manage supply chain, and facilitate effective communications between technical and administrative personnel.
  • We are looking for someone who is familiar with plumbing and HVAC design and construction.  
  • Our ideal candidate is an experienced Engineer who has managed people and projects, is effective at communicating with customers, vendors and staff, and has a business mindset. Who has the ability to problem-solve, plan and lead teams.
  • Overseeing daily business operations.
  • Developing and implementing growth strategies.
  • Training low-level managers and staff.
  • Creating and managing budgets.
  • Improving revenue.
  • Hiring employees.
  • Evaluating performance and productivity.
  • Analyzing accounting and financial data.
  • Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Generating reports and giving presentations.
  • Oversee and direct projects from conception to completion
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite teams.
  • Coordinate and direct Engineers, Plumer’s and subcontractors
  • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Management or Masters in Business Administration.
  • Strong plumbing, HVAC or other closely related construction and project management experience
  • 15 to 20 years of experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and training others.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  • Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Leadership and human resources management skills
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Excellent time and project management skill.
  • Good knowledge of different business functions.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized.
