Job Description
- Inspect the raw materials, ensure the materials' quality, inspect the finished product and verify its compliance with quality standards.
- Inspect refrigerators, freezers, and raw materials warehouse to ensure conformity with storage conditions.
- Conduct temperature checks on products and ensures all HACCP, and Heath Authority rules and regulations are followed, and manage log books.
- Ensure employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
- Ensure and educate employees on food safety standards.
- issue disciplinary action when directed.
- Monitor customer specifications to ensure the proper weight and appearance of products produced.
- Ensure products produced are placed under refrigeration upon completion of production.
- Ensure proper color codes are marked on the products produced.
- Responsible for the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.
- Follow up on the complaints and make sure all of them are closed with corrective action
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science, Agriculture, veterinary (Food sciences is a must)
- Minimum two to three years experience in quality control and food safety.
- Must have Certificates on (HACCP-Food Safety)
- Preferable to obtain one of the following certificates: ISO 9001, ISO 22000, GMP.
