Job Description

  • Participate in designing quarterly and monthly financial plans for the project.
  • Implement entries in both the unified accounting guide and the financial safety standard guide.
  • Record and audit all daily entries according to the financial systems and policies and based on the adopted accounting cycle.
  • Record all expenses and revenues, prepare all related documents according to the approved financial policies.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and identify discrepancies (if any) for resolution.
  • Maintain all accounting books, records, and documents according to accounting principles.
  • Supervise periodic inventory operations for project assets and warehouses, matching project account balances.
  • Prepare all financial reports and final accounts, ensuring their accuracy and collaborating with external auditors.
  • Prepare budgets and budget estimates for the project.
  • Monitor internal and external financial claims for the project and follow up on their collection or disbursement.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the project management, directly within the scope of accounting activities, and not conflicting with the law or association regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Job Title: Project Accountant
  • Type and Duration of Work: Fixed-term contract (12 months), renewable for similar periods.
  • Nature of the Job: Full-time, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.
  • Supervisor: Project Manager.
  • Workplace: Administrative headquarters in Maidan Al-Nafoura, Mokattam - Project execution headquarters in Asmarat neighborhood, Mokattam.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Suitable university degree.
  • Minimum Experience: Two years.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in using Office programs.
  • Other Skills: Has the basic knowledge and skills for effective communication, the ability to work in a team, system orientation, knowledge and skill in dealing with databases, documentation skills, and skills in formulating financial implementation reports.
