- Participates in the annual business planning process.
- In collaboration with the Sales Manager, sets the appropriate strategies and policies regarding pricing, promotion, product and distribution of products in local and global markets.
- Develops the annual marketing plan for the overseen activities and presents the marketing budget. Ensures effective utilization of set budget.
- Directs, reviews and refines the market and customer research activities.
- Analyzes market conditions, competition, price trends, and customer requirements.
- Develops periodic reports highlighting different products performance and portfolio gaps.
- Sets, in collaboration with his direct reports, the yearly objectives for them, ensuring alignment with the company’s yearly objectives.
- Conducts performance appraisals sessions of his direct report in due time.
- Support the training and development plan for department staff.
