Job Description

  • Review and approve individual treatment plans proposed by attending physicians
  • Ensure treatment plans are evidence-based and align with national or international clinical
    guidelines and within the project SOPs
  • Evaluate medical histories, diagnostic reports, and current medical conditions to validate
    treatment approaches.
  • Review patient medical records, clinical notes, and diagnostic results to ensure accuracy and
    completeness.
  • Ensure that all necessary medical documentation is properly signed, dated, and stored according
    to Project protocols.
  • Review and approve prescriptions for patients, ensuring that medications are appropriate, safe,
    and in accordance with medical guidelines.
  • Approve prescription refills and follow-up treatment plans as required.
  • Participate in regular audits of medical practices to identify areas of improvement and
    compliance issues.
  • Offer mentorship and clinical advice to ensure that all staff members adhere to best practice
    standards.
  • Provide feedback and conduct performance evaluations for clinical staff when needed.
  • Ensure proper reporting and documentation of adverse events or complications.
  • Referral of the approved services to the service providers according to SOPs of the project.
  • Any additional tasks related to the project and position.

Job Requirements

  • A recognized medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent).
  • Typically, 2+ years of clinical experience in approval positions, with demonstrated
    expertise in patient care and medical decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare
    staff, patients, and administrative teams.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior staff, as well as collaborate effectively with
    multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing medical documentation and treatment plans.
  • Sufficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel)
