Job Description
- Establish and execute a sales goal for the region inside and outside Egypt.
- Manage a team in order to maximize sales revenue and meet and/or exceed corporate-set goals.
- Manage the entire sales cycle including: prospecting, territory development, lead qualification, customer presentations, pricing, negotiating and closing.
- Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals.
- Prepare sales plans and reports.
- Assist sales personnel in their techniques.
- Develop specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term.
- Educate sales team with presentations of strategies, seminars and regular meetings.
- Review expenses and recommend improvements.
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction.
- Ensure customer issues are attended to appropriately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships.
- Interact directly with customers to educate them on our products and answer questions.
- Identify hiring needs, select and train new sales people.
- Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding new updates including competitors’ activities, prices and/or any other actions.
- Attend tradeshows and conferences as needed to assist in presentations, booth operations, etc.
- Create harmonious working environment, train and mentor staff and motivate all team members to perform efficiently.
- Engage in consultative relationship-building to develop sales opportunities through a combination of prospecting through inbound leads and hunting.
- Keep current on company’s product and solutions and industry trends.
- Perform other duties as may reasonably be assigned from senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Engineering.
- Master degree in Sales Management is a strong advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations of which a minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as a Sales Manager – preferably in the manufacturing industry – would be essential.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Solid understanding of market research methods and analysis.
- Fluent speaking and writing English.
- Spanish or French is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Outstanding organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Great ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Leader with proven management skills.
- Knowledge of international contract terms, foreign currencies, tariffs and trading regulations.
- Flexibility to international travel.
