Job Description

1. He distributes duties and tasks to the employees of the affiliated departments, coordinates between them, and follows up on the progress of work to ensure that the required goals are achieved.

2. Planning and managing maintenance:
a. Supervises the preparation of monthly and annual maintenance plans and their timings, reviews them, and follows up on their implementation.

B. Supervises the implementation of remedial maintenance work and makes sure of the speedy repair of faults and the reasons for stopping the machines.

c. He studies the necessary modifications to the maintenance plans according to the circumstances.

3. Reviews the administration's needs for spare parts, oils, and maintenance supplies, sets a plan for conditions, and follows up on providing them.

4. Participate with the production department in solving operating problems:

a. Follows up the installation of molds on the machines according to the production program, and makes sure to adjust the operating conditions for the production of initial samples.

B. He cooperates with the production department to study the reasons for the low efficiency of the machines and develop appropriate solutions and supervise their implementation.

c. He follows up on the analysis of the causes of recurring faults and makes sure that the necessary technical plans are put in place to reduce their recurrence rates.

5. Participate in making technical adjustments to machines to improve operating methods and increase productivity.

6. Studying the needs of external manufacturing of spare parts and approving their implementation.

7. Reviews detailed programs for installation work, coordinates their implementation with the Production Department, and follows up on performance.

8. Follows up the activities of the workshop, verifies the efficiency of operating the work assigned to it, and works to raise the efficiency of using the workshop's machines and equipment.

9. Ensures that drawings and technical specifications of machines, cable route maps, and facilities are saved.
10. Directing, developing, and managing the administration staff:

a. Evaluates the performance of management employees, set career development plans to raise their performance levels, and follow up on the development of their performance levels.

B. He determines the incentives and rewards for the employees of the administration under the approved systems.

11. He performs other duties assigned to him related to the objectives and nature of the job, according to the directives of the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
  • Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
  • Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure the functionality
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors, etc.)
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Job Requirements

education :
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.

He must be a resident of Alexandria.

Previous experience :
Practical experience of not less than 15 years in maintenance work, provided that it includes at least 7 years in supervisory positions.

- High supervisory and leadership skills
- High computer skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English

  • Proven experience as a maintenance manager or other managerial role
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.
  • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage
  • A valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus
