Job Description

  • Responsible for overseeing deliveries of F&B items by suppliers and check it with the purchase orders to ensure the deliveries & required items are fulfilled. 
  • Responsible for controlling the F&B costing and planning. Maximize the revenue through procuring good quality of food materials at the right prices.
  • Able to control the F&B cost effectively
  • Procure & control of the entire F&B items
  • Validate, evaluate and approve the club’s list of reliable suppliers
  • Record all F&B requisitions
  • Communicate with the club’s suppliers, place the purchase orders according to the requisitions received from each department; i.e., Kitchen & Service
  • Check and record all incoming F&B materials in terms of quantity and quality
  • Control and ensure that not a single item leaves the stores without requisition
  • Purchasing of all F&B and non-food products by arrangement with the head of departments
  • Manage general order processing (internally and externally)
  • Perform any requested duty by the Club Manager
  • Establish an inventory system for each food & beverage item & storage conditions
  • Responsible for the F&B inventory
  • Update the menu prices according to the costing information collected
  • Actively take part in designing the menus in terms of pricing
  • Check and verify all complimentary F&B & confirm that all are approved
  • Continuously check the weak points in F&B control system and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Provide periodical F&B report to the management; cost vs sales
  • Check and verify staff meals & provide weekly cost report
  • Check and verify all club members & staff discounts
  • Check and verify all meals’ packages; cost vs. sales
  • Ensure the F&B selling prices are correct and up-loaded into cashier automated system and any other POS (point of Sale)
  • Close cooperation with the kitchen, F&B as well as events staff
