The Amazon Middle East and North Africa team is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who is passionate about building great products for our customers. The SDE-III will be based in UAE, Dubai and must have Software engineering experience involving solving complex problems for MENA and WW. The SDE-III will:

- Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.

- Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables

- Write high quality distributed system software

- Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.

Job Requirements

Skills BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
