Job Description
- Coordinate all aspects of port call activities including scheduling, logistics coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Oversee boarding procedures for ships entering and leaving port, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of vessel arrivals and departures, including crew manifests and cargo declarations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between ship crews, port authorities, customs officials, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all boarding procedures adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
- Provide assistance and support to ship crews and port personnel, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, coordinating with relevant authorities.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in port operations, maritime logistics, or similar roles preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and solve problems under pressure.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and port management software.
