Job Description

who will lead our expansion to the Yemen market, build the company and team structure and prepare us for the growth stage, below are some responsibilities which we think are needed at the moment,

Role responsibilities:

  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures.
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.).
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.
  • Assist CEO in fundraising ventures.
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.).
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors.
  • Participate in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
  • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
  • Oversee operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
  • Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced.
  • Implement operational best practices.
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
  • Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry.
  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Report risk issues to the board of directors.
  • Participate in conference calls with the investment community.

 

Leadership:

  • Taking ownership of company operations, design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.)

  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

Strategy:

  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth

Marketing:

  • Help build a marketing campaign and testing different strategies (PR, Google AdWords, Youtube, others)
  • Optimizing the Ad campaigns to improve the CAC
  • Organic marketing strategies and overlooking the implementation of the same
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
  • Assist CEO in fundraising ventures

Sales:

  • Build a plan of customer acquisition first 1000 clients and road map to achieve 1M users by 2023
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Meet and gather requirements from different teams to make sure that the business model is aligned.
  • Understand the business requirements and strategies in the coming Q and next year.
  • Structure the teams and workflows needed to be applied.
  • Create measurable KPIs and OKRs to guide the teams to work in the right direction
  • Make sure that the processes are efficient and adaptable to different stages.
  • Govern the application of the processes and make sure that all objectives are on track.

Job Requirements

 

  • MBA/ MSc in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or relevant field.
  • Progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.
  • Should have experience in partnering with an executive team
  • High level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Dealing with complexity.
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Experience in fund raising will be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in E-commerce Industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving.
  • English and Arabic languages.
