Job Description
Purchase Orders
- Identifying purchasing needs and arranging them.
- Processing the purchase orders and updating the files needed and all other relevant information.
- Ordering new items as needed to keep the inventory fully stocked and supplied.
Suppliers
- Keeping an eye out for new suppliers that provide the same products for a lower cost without sacrificing any of our aspects.
- Negotiating contracts and pricing and establishing payment terms with the new and existing suppliers.
- Monitoring the existing suppliers’ capacity.
- Evaluating suppliers’ performance and compliance.
Customer Service
- Collaborating seamlessly with the manufacturing and logistics departments to gather all the data related to orders and requests.
- Handling and monitoring the after-sales requests and escalated issues, if any.
- Ensuring timely and effective communications with all parties regarding customers' shipment and requests.
- Improving customer service performance through the evaluation and re-design of the supply chain process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Industrial engineering, Production engineering or a related field of study
- Microsoft Office is a must (Advanced Excel abilities is preferred)
- AutoCAD is a must
- Familiarity with ERP or any similar software is preferred
- Analytical and mathematical capabilities with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
- Detail-oriented
- Organization
