Job Description
- Plan, coordinate, track and manage project(s) to successful completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans including scope, work breakdown structures, estimates, resource plans, task dependencies, schedule, open issues, and risk assessment, management, and mitigation plans across multiple work streams.
- Track actual project against project plan, to ensure there is no deviations from plan.
- Work with development managers, technical staff, and business subject matter experts to orchestrate project delivery to ensure projects are delivered and executed in alignment with the overall project plan, driving customer outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
- Define and manage overall project scope and take corrective action in a proactive manner to keep the project delivery on track.
- Direct and monitor work efforts daily, identify resource needs, perform quality review; and escalate functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding the status of the project – schedule, progress to date, risks etc. - to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct end of project evaluation, team performance evaluation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- At least 3-5 years of software project management experience.
- Very good software development background.
- Very good experience with different project delivery life cycles (Agile, Waterfall).
- Extensive experience of delivering medium / large projects through the entire project lifecycle.
- PMP is a plus
- Excellent organizational, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Intimate knowledge of change management, risk management, setting up and initiating projects.
- Proven experience taking proactive lead and ownership of desired project outcome success.
- Strong work ethic and accountability.
