Job Description
• Monitor daily sales and traffic across online and offline channels
• Coming up with the calendar for the year; cross category events and category focused events.
• Design, program and produce each event; i.e. coming up with a full marketing plan which includes but not limited to: which channels are we using, how much budget we’re spending across different levers …etc.
• Cascading the Event plan with all stakeholders along with timelines and milestones
• Briefing design team on each event and making sure concerned teams are aligned
• Gathering all inputs from merchandising teams regarding the deals and offers prior each event.
• Assessing promotions and deals received making sure that, from a customer’s perspective, these are qualifying deals and should be promoted. This will be done based on eligibility criteria that will be done and shared with stakeholders.
• Develop and produce promotional materials and presentations; for example: launching the product catalogue each month along with all POS material required for each event.
• Coming up with new ideas and themes to test across the year
• Reporting daily on the event performance vs targets and actioning the relevant stakeholders to make sure we close on target.
Job Requirements
- 6 years+ experience in marketing and events
- Experience in trade marketing is a must
- Business acumen to lead a group of LSM marketers, architects, … etc.
- Analytical skills: They can gather information from various sources and interpret the data to reach logical conclusions that benefit the business and our growth.
- Communication skills: Store marketing manager will be working with all stakeholders in the company; hence, we need to make sure that they can relay their thoughts, opinions, and ideas clearly to those around them.
- Creativity: critical thinking and the ability to think outside the box; look at problems as opportunities for growth.
- Agility: needs to be flexible, on their toes, and able to quickly change thoughts and ideas and run from one task to another.
