Job Description
Warehouse Planning:
- Formulate plan for warehouse management and maintenance
- Ensure efficiency in warehouse functions and reduce operating cost
- Ensure effective warehouse productivity measures & minimum shipments turnaround time
Minimize warehouse costs through effective management and control of storage cost, labor cost
Warehouse Operation:
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Comply with state, and local warehousing, and material handling by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Supervise stacking and storage of goods and maintain safety measures to preserve goods
- Maintain an orderly work area and ensure security and safety of the warehouse
- Health & safety for warehouse operations
People Management:
- Manage and support recruitment
- Monitor staff welfare and facilitate complaint resolution
- Set KPI for direct reports and conduct performance appraisal. Key Responsibility Areas
- Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the direct repartees
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Warehouse experience knowledge
- Manufacturing experience
- Males only
- Analytical, Problem Structuring & numerical skills
- Flexibility and follow ups skills
- Using ERP (SAP) System
- Flexibility to move around different company warehouses
- Normal working conditions in the Factory, in Gamasa, or the company
- Working hours: 08:30 Hours including 60 minutes break
- Reporting to: Supply Chain Head
