Job Description
- The purpose of the job is to support the Mechanical Engineering Department in all aspects of scheduling, planning and maintenance requirements.
- Internal: The jobholder’s key internal working relationship is within the team as well as with Production, Mechanical, HSE, Purchase, Stores and Accounts Departments.
- External: The suppliers, vendors and or contractors at the site.
- The main complexity associated with the job role is to enforce and maintain procedures and standards along with the control of all asset activity.
- The jobholder works supervised but on a large scale has to be self reliant.
- The jobholder should be an Engineering graduate in Mechanical Power Engineering. He/she should possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels and with difference nationalities.
- Responsible for Solving Mechanical Problems for Main Lines Equipment, Main slitters, Secondary slitters, Metallizers , Recycle Lines And Utilities.
- Follow Up maintenance Reports and review Work Orders Requests.
- Apply Preventive maintenance Schedule and Lubrication & Greasing Plan.
- Establish the Purchasing Orders for All spares, Consumables, Services and Fabrications.
- Inspect new Received Items and Reviewing the spares stock at the warehouse and reorder point.
Job Requirements
- Packaging, chemicals, cartons, printing, plastic industries background is a must.
- Languages: Very Good command of English language (Speaking, reading, and writing).
- The job holder should have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role in the Engineering Department.
