Job Description

Day-to-day responsibility for all marketing and communications for a luxury shopping mall to both the customers and the tenants.

The position requires a Marketing Manager to work in a shopping center marketing and the events industry.

An understanding of budgeting, planning, advertising, promotion, community relations, public relations and sponsorship would be advantageous to assist with the brand guardianship of the mall and related sub-brands.

Job Responsibility

  • Working with the executive team, such as the marketing director or managing director, to set the marketing strategy for the business.
  • Researching and analyzing market trends and competitors.
  • Overseeing marketing campaigns.
  • Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the executive team.
  • Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
  • Writing and delivering content and social media plans.
  • Looking after the budget of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.
  • Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures.
  • Overseeing the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and festivals.
  • Assist in preparing the annual Marketing Plan for shopping mall and ensuring that marketing objectives are achieved, measured and results reported to direct supervisor.
  • ROI analysis required on each promotion and fed back to business.
  • Increase B-2-B Relationships by working closely with all agencies to develop yearly media plan and ensure timely and top-class implementation of all marketing communications.
  • Hiring and managing the performance of a more junior marketing team that can also include PR and creative staff.
  • Execute sales and marketing plans that address shopping center issues and opportunities, resulting in marketing programs that enhance tenant, community, and media relations, and increase shopping center sales.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent with minimum 8 to 10 years of retail Mall Marketing experience.
  • Prior relevant experience in managing shopping mall’s reward programs and digital marketing.
  • Creative, Dynamic ,result oriented & resourceful with unique media & Relevant Promotional Partners
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal and team motivation approach skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and stay calm in pressure environment
  • Deep Knowledge of principles & Methods for showing, Promoting and selling products or services this includes contributing to the creation of marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management.
  • Computer literate with strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Power Point.
