Job Description

  • We are building an academy for teaching kids (ages 7 - 14) coding and computer science fundamentals, as well as basic Entrepreneurship concepts, Presentation skills, and other foundational skills. Our mission is to build a future generation of builders, problem solvers, shapers of the future, through teaching kids concepts and skills that will set them up to build big things!
  • We are on the look for our founding admin team to help us realize our vision, and help us grow to be synonymous with kids coding and entrepreneurship learning across the MENA region.

  • In this job, we're looking for a highly motivated individual who will take care of the Front Desk (Reception) activities, someone who will be the shining face of our vision, the first contact point with our customers, and the reason to retain them!

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors or customers (Parents and Students)
  • Handling inquiries
  • Taking and distributing messages
  • Collecting and Bookkeeping the Subscription Payments from Parents
  • Responding to calls and inquiries (on phone/email) from interested parents asking about the program.
  • Full capability to explain the program details as one of the founders.
  • Business Development: Managing communication with leads and clients, through phone, email, social media channels and face to face in the office.
  • Working with management on creating schedules, and following up with instructors when needed.
  • You will be part of the founding team, so you'll be involved in brand building activities, such as following up on our social media channels and sharing feedback and ideas with management

What we are looking for:

  • You have 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • You have a higher education degree
  • You are a great communicator (preferably in both Arabic and English), and love taking the initiative in resolving any challenging situations.
  • You know your way well around office tools (them docs and spreadsheets don't intimidate you!)
  • And you have a shiny smile! :)

You will even be a greater fit if:

  • Your customer-facing experience includes working in an educational/training establishment, and are familiar with the day-to-day communication requirements with parents of young students.
