Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well-established business group based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking to hire a Factory Manager for their Electrical / Lighting Manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. As the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall production and operations of our electrical/lighting manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. This role involves strategic planning, efficient resource utilization, cost management, and ensuring the highest standards of product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise day-to-day operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Implement and maintain best practices for safety, cleanliness, and organization within the factory.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline cross-functional processes.
- Monitor and control production costs to maximize profitability.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Work closely with the finance team to manage budgetary requirements.
- Analyze financial data to assess the factory's performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop strategies to improve profit margins while maintaining product quality.
- Collaborate with senior management to formulate business strategies.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of production and operational staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the electrical/lighting industry.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Solid financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and analyze financial data.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
