Senior Buyer/Planner

For a very well known manufacturing company located in Sheikh Zayed, a senior buyer is urgently needed.

Job Description:

• Running MRP & reviewing Stocks of all materials twice per week to ensure availability of needed materials for both bulk & retail needs.
• Purchasing needed materials (Raw, packaging, NPI's, Spare parts), preparing PO's & sending them.
• Follow up with suppliers’ delivery dates & pushing with them to reduce their lead times which will reduce the volume & value of stocks which will have positive effect on company working capital.
• Sourcing new trusted suppliers from the point of quality, price, lead time, durability & flexibility.
• weekly & some times daily revising market prices for materials to achieve saving in material cost which will have a positive effect on sales margin.
• providing same SKUs from multiple suppliers to be safe if any of the for any circumstances won't be able to commit with the agreed Lead time.
• Measuring supplier performance from the point of committing to: 1) delivery dates, 2) quality, 3) delivering full quantities as agreed.
• Increasing payment terms limit for all suppliers & decreasing cash or in advance transactions for liquidity purpose & to benefit from bank interest rate.
• Measuring BAIS error (actual - forecast) for bulk & retail to avoid under or over stocking from unneeded SKU's which may finally lead to depleting stocks with many ways (execution, selling with cost, promotion on item).
• Measuring KPI's for suppliers’ payments (POT).
• Highly acting to urgent purchasing needs Helping industrial sales team by affording needed product with agreed quantities on time to complete their sales dealer: marketing, factory & WH needs.
• Meeting with suppliers semi-annually for evaluation & taking step forward to increase volumes, SKU's.
