- Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. This may involve negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier shipping performance, and resolving any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Supply Planning Specialists identify and mitigate risks that could disrupt supply chain operations, such as supplier shortages, shipping delays, or production bottlenecks.
- Supply Planning Specialists collaborate with various departments across the organization, including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and logistics. They align supply chain planning activities with overall business goals and objectives to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and on-time delivery metrics to assess the effectiveness of supply chain operations.
