Job Description

  • Collaborate with international and national training departments to identify and implement new programs according to local laws and customs. 
  • Identifies strategic business opportunities and assume accountability to achieve standards of excellence aligned with work unit and/or key corporate objectives.
  • Develops Business plan and annual forecast of the assigned market.
  • Design and implement all export strategies and activities and ensure adherence to all project requirements and prepare all export documents within required timeframe and schedule efficient shipping activities and identify appropriate transportation method in assistance with customers.
  • Supervise efficient working of sales staff and ensure compliance to all export objectives and design sales strategies according to customer requirement and collaborate with country sales manager to prepare budget for projects.
  • Optimizes and controls operation expenses.
  • Builds good rapport with the agents/distributors in the assigned market. 
  • Allocates the sales targets based on the geographic affinity for each product. Reviews them regularly and on quarterly basis to take corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensures implementation of sales plan, tracks, pushes and motivates sales team, reports & evaluates the progress together with the supervisors and adjusts the plan when needed. 
  • Monitors the sales and the products stock regularly.
  • Builds strong trading relationships with key decision makers in distribution ensuring the proper delivery of our products.
  • Conducts several field trips (double visits) on regular basis in different governorates to different sales branches to ensure the implementation of the sales plan, to take market feedback and to evaluate the Sales team.
  • Manage legal approval process for territories and proposed efficient activities.
  • Evaluate all reports submitted by sales staff and recommend appropriate changes if required and maintain all operational records to prepare all project sales and establish profitability in organization and provide training for all sales and services programs.
  • Manage all banking logistics for export activities and prepare required documents and prepare special labels for brands and ensure adherence to all shipping schedule.
  • Provide training to all export team and perform assessment of all work and assist to achieve all export objectives and develop and maintain professional relationships with all clients and perform regular communication with all staff and clients.
  • Conducts annual/semiannual meetings with the marketing department to reflect market feedback and at the same time discusses product business strategies and product knowledge.
  • Interviews, hires, trains and develops candidates with a proven track record of sales success to build a highly productive sales team.  Ensures low turnover rate in his/her line by consistently rewarding good performers

  • Ensure low turnover rate in his/ her line by consistently rewarding good performers.
  • Coach the subordinates and monitor their performance through the PRD system to maintain employees’ performance.
  • Conduct cycle meetings on a monthly basis to monitor the achievements of the department versus the setting objectives within the agreed time frame to pursue business achievements
  • Setting his own Objectives on the PRD System each semester in reference to the Department Objectives.
  • Setting the department annual budget.
  • Conduct Technical interviews to support in the selection of the matching candidates for the open vacancies in the department.
  • Maintain ISO procedure for related activities.
  • Handle any additional assignment requested by the direct manager according to the business needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any related field.
  • 15 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales promotion and management.
  • Good command of English language and computer skills.
