Job Description
- Monitor profitability ratios and analyze sales reports, stagnation, and inventory turnover on a daily basis.
- Setting the monthly procurement plan to achieve the commodity formation that provides the profit rates approved by the company’s management.
- Deciding on the items of the weekly magazine in order to achieve the implementation of the procurement plan.
- Daily interview with suppliers to agree on contracting new products or agreeing on methods of payment or solving problems.
- Negotiate with suppliers about entering into the official sponsor program or providing display stands inside the branches in order to increase profitability.
- Negotiate long-term agreements with suppliers to obtain exclusive items or fast-turnover items at the lowest price, highest specifications, and longest period.
- Possible repayment to achieve approved profitability ratios.
- Follow up on suppliers ’offers on their products periodically with the aim of achieving monthly and annual profitability.
- Follow-up of the returns to suppliers and negotiate the withdrawal of combinations and replacement of stagnant ones to achieve the greatest possible benefit.
- Evaluate suppliers periodically to ensure the ability of suppliers to meet the company's requirements of products on time and in the required quantity and search for
- Alternatives to improve the level of purchasing within the company.
- Coordination with the logistic management and suppliers to reach the best quantity of items and the best delivery dates.
- Communicating with the financial department (suppliers' accounts) to overcome any obstacles for suppliers in receiving the payments due to them according to the contract and the items turnover rate.
- Follow-up sales and logistics reports to verify profitability ratios, item presence, stagnation, and product turnover rate.
