Job Description
- Provide technical consultation and evaluation during medical equipment procurement.
- Management of maintenance contracts.
- Develop and implement a universal hospital equipment plan.
- Perform and plan preventive maintenance and calibration schedule for all biomedical equipment for all hospital departments.
- Train staff to use equipment safely.
- Develop and apply all required equipment labels as preventive maintenance, out of service labels, and electrical safety labels.
- Review medical equipment recalls and take appropriate actions to ensure the affected equipment is tested or removed from service, where appropriate.
- Contact and monitor all outside suppliers, providing service to the hospital.
- Comply with the hospital infection control guidelines.
- Develop and update medical equipment inventory.
- Perform regular daily reports about hospital equipment problems.
- Available for domestic, Regional, and International travel.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
- With experience of more than 6 years as a biomedical engineer in healthcare organizations, specifically hospitals.
- Language Skills: Excellent command in both Arabic & English.
- Computer Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office
