Job Description
Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:
- Work with management team to develop and/or evaluate corporate strategy focusing on results
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, business planning and assess performance against annual budget and the organization long-term strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate profitability, pricing, costs, and expenditures.
- Ensure financial and business plans are reviewed periodically and effectively based on the needs and changes in the market.
- Supervise and support managed staff to provide effective financial control, safeguard the company’s assets, and ensure full compliance with all company directives and policies.
- Manage corporate relationship with banks, auditors, investment advisors and other parties in order to optimize services, and improve the finance function within each business area.
- Participate in key decisions relating to strategic initiatives, investments, new business and advise on financial impacts of potential actions and decisions.
- Maximize cash flow, profits and growth. Monitor and minimize costs and cost of capital.
- Manage taxes and hedging against all risks and exposures in the most efficient manner.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years experience in the hospitality industry is must .
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to help teams understand performance data, identify opportunities and scale the business overall
- Experience working with C-level executives and track record of influencing behaviors at a variety of levels in the organization including cross functional leaders.
