Job Description
- Plan and coordinate, with other departments, regular business impact analysis (BIA) and risk assessments across the organization to determine the critical business functions, systems, processes, interdependencies and resource requirements to influence the development of resumption strategies.
- Lead, consult and advise in conducting risk assessments and business impact analyses; in developing appropriate business disruption risk mitigation strategies and controls; and in creating, implementing, exercising and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery Work cross-functionally across RCC's departments such as Governance, Hosting, Operations and IT to ensure organizational-wide business resiliency.
- Review current disaster recovery, crisis management, and/or business continuity plans
- Support compliance-related activities and evaluate the impact on the organizational activities.
- Forecasts based on threat analysis to distinguish threats and hazards.
- Validate business resilience and continuity strategies through methodological practices.
- Recommend and implement methods to monitor, evaluate, and apply resolutions related to IT, Hosting, Safety, Operations, or any related compliance interruptions.
- Develop emergency plans for recovery decision making and communications, continuity of critical departmental processes, and insurance of business resilience.
- Design and draft reports summarizing the resilience activities, including descriptions of objectives, planning, scheduling, execution, outcomes, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
