Job Description
- Plan budgets and activities for account management inside the company
- Set up goals and objectives for all the account managers staff
- Provide feedback and counsel to account managers staff to meet their objectives
- Conduct performance evaluation using KPIs
- Serve as the point of contact for the client in any conflict between the account manager
- Understand client requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and generate new business
- Ensure the timely delivery of calendars and services to clients
- Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen customer trust
- Read reports of subordinates and communicate overall progress to the Managing Director.
- Covering all the Account managers when they are in a vacation in terms of meetings, shoots and communication
- Responsible for the new accounts distribution on the active account managers and conducting a workforce plan incase if requesting a new hire.
- Taking a lead in clients’ marketing and advertising strategies
- Leading a team to provide the utmost level of client service
- Liaising with clients at a senior level on a day-to-day basis
- Promoting the expansion of business with existing clients
- Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
- Using your skills to push clients, and the agency, creatively and strategically
- Prepare long-term and short-term goals and account objectives
- Build trust and long-term relationships with clients
- Manage records of sales, revenue, and other important data
- Motivate team members to exceed expected goals
- Estimate and establish cost parameters, budgets, campaigns, and potential ROI
- Supervise account management and strategies
- Evaluate employee performance and review employee goals
- Encourage account manager and officers to bring in new clients
- Develop and implement strategic sales quotas
- Learn new product and services features and benefits
- Provide professional after-sales support
- Respond to complaints and manage issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as an account director or similar position
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
- Demonstrable experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements
- Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress
- Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics
- Working knowledge of MS Office and/or relevant software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- A background in advertising, design or marketing
- The ability to plan and strategies at a senior level
- A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Effective team management capabilities
- A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
- Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
- Up to date on latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
