Job Description
- Preparing and Review shop drawings.
- Cooperate with the construction and engineering teams regarding the construction team deliverables.
- Preparing a list of the shop drawings.
- Preparation, revision, and coordination of architectural drawings and construction documents and coordination with suppliers and/or subcontractors
- Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.
- Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
- Responsible for preparing all shop drawings.
- Reviews plans prepared by subcontractors.
- Review and modify shop drawing submittals for approvals
- Conduct the value engineering process throughout the engineering phase.
- Preparing RFI (Request for information), regarding any issue in the design and BOQ and specifications.
- Interact with the Material Engineer regarding the material submittal and specifications.
- Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Coordinate with other Architectural Technical Office engineers to produce shop drawings with a focus on aesthetics and cost control.
- Resolve arising conflicts between various design components.
- Represent architect on construction site, ensuring builder compliance with design specifications, and advising on design corrections under architect's supervision.
- Comparing the structural & architectural drawings coordination between finishing, electric, mechanical & sanitary works quality, reviewing infrastructure drawings & coordinate it with the project layout.
- Maintaining shop drawings log by entering data and completing backups.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Architecture.
- Advanced AutoCAD, Revit.
- Photoshop, MS Office.
- Males only
- Minimum experience of 10 -20 years.
