Job Description
- Prepares tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules.
- Prepare Payroll tax payments and VAT form in addition to WHT form 41.
- Recommends tax strategies by researching local taxation issues.
- Maintains legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws.
- Follow up and finalize any tax disputes at all stages.
- Dealing with the recent tax authorities regulations.
- Revises procedures by developing and streamlining procedures and worksheets for calculation of tax provisions.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Continuously update list of customers that are exempted from VAT or subject to 0 VAT.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as corporate taxes officer/accountant.
- VAT Tax background.
- Excellent knowledge in the national tax law with a high level of up-to-date tax issues, IFRS, very good accounting knowledge.
