Maintenance Director

Purpose of the position

• Maintenance Director oversees and leads maintenance procedures and actions in a
  company. Directs activities for the repair of equipment. Duties include tracking
  expenses, reporting progress, and assigning schedules. Accountable and Responsible for
  managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities.
  Maintenance Director is responsible for directing, managing and supervising the work
  of technical manager and engineers during general maintenance and routine upkeep of
  the company’s facilities and equipment.

Role Description:

Strategic (results) –

• Directing and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
• Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
• Creating maintenance procedures.
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure its implementation run correctly
• Directing the maintenance manager to conduct regular inspections of the
  facilities to detect and resolve problems.
• Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when
  necessary.
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
• Ensure operational efficiency of mechanical systems through timely inspection
  and repair.
• Long term strategic planning of mechanical maintenance activities.
   

Operational (process) –

• Directing the maintenance manager to ensure maintaining all machinery to
  ensure it’s at working standards.

• Minimizing the cost as much as possible.

• Coach, mentor, train and develop maintenance manager to meet current and
  future business requirements.
