Job Description
- about the role
- as an assistant project manager , you would be responsible for proactively managing the various and complex issues of railway maintenance and interface with NAT,ECM,RATP,Hyundai Rotem O&M business team and sub-contractors(including Rotem SRS) to ensure maintenance of the rolling stock fleet is conducted in best practice and meet the contract obligation. details of jop describtion is as below but not limited to:
- interfacing:
- liaise with Rotem O&M business team and sub-contractors to manage issues related with maintenance activities.
- Participate meeting with clients or sub-contractor.
- write a report to HQ when needed or requested.
- payment control:
- monitors payment status and expedite clients to receive outstanding amounts.
- forecast payment schedule and check the payment claims in right time to prevent any slippage
- document control:
- receives and issues documents (including letter) externally and internally
- responsible for managing master list for in/outgoing letters.
- translate documents with egyptian language when needed or requested.
Job Requirements
- bachelor degree qualification in a relevant field
- working experience more than 5 years in project management field(Experience in rolling stock business is preferable)
- engineering(Mechanical or Electrical) background is preferable
- fluent in spoken and written in English is a must
- ability to build strong working relationships and good communication skills
- pro-active nature, willing to learn quickly and take new challenges
- computer-literate(including ms office)
- available to visit clients&sub-contractors office frequently
