Our growing company is in need of an experienced and resourceful Business Development Executive to develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. Job description:

  • Business Development Executives are responsible for developing, generating and growing new digital marketing business, creating innovative online marketing sales plans and exhibiting expertise in digital marketing solutions. 
  • You will be responsible for identifying new areas for growth and specific prospects as well as nurturing existing client relationships to develop business opportunities. It is also to be a driving force for innovation within the agency leading the thinking, education and development of the sales function at Xact.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Prepare and deliver effective and persuasive proposals on our services.
  • Ensure the availability of proper resources for sales and demonstrations
  • Participate on behalf of the company at exhibitions or conferences Negotiate/ close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve better results
  • Work with the Account Managers to identify new opportunities within existing client business or contacts.
  • Maintain strong and prosperous working relationships with key clients.
  • Meets all KPI/Activity requirements as outlined by management.
  • Oversees negotiations and ensures pricing, profitability, operation, contracts, and on-boarding requirements are achieved.
  • Assess and nurture new business opportunities with a strong revenue target in mind
  • Develop the new business strategy and pipeline with recommended marketing activity ensuring that the pipeline is in line with the agency goals and revenue targets.
  • Lead the response to brief and pitching; lead and support the pitch teams.
  • Develop strategies with fresh initiatives to meet the agency revenue goal.

Job Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • 2+ years’ experience in B2B sales environment, preferably in marketing and digital development services
  • Digital industry experience and knowledge is a must
  • Proven Business Development and Prospecting Results
  • Established Network
  • Experience in selling services. Marketing and Web selling services experience is a plus.
  • Experience in lead generation and conversion
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
  • Proven experience as a sales executive or relevant role
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities; demonstrated time management skills.
  • We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of success driving revenue (e.g., ability to capture and close the deal), fierce work ethic, excellent communication skills and understanding of digital marketing, mobile and SEO advertising solutions.
  • Proven extensive delivery of complex digital activity (campaigns, content, web and mobile experiences) and marketing communications to clients.
  • Proven success in winning, delivering and retaining key clients.
