Job Description

What we need:
Lead Wind Engineer is responsible for technical training, 2nd level troubleshooting support, technical review of documentation, assurance of technical best practices, asset integrity and compliance with corporate and international standards or guidelines. the [LWE] will provide training, technical advisory, root cause analysis services, supporting Predictive Analytics and Diagnostics solution while proposing existing or new technical solutions as required. [LWE] is accountable for technical support, while ensuring best maintenance practices are applied across the whole Wind portfolio, towards best availability and performance across operating fleet.

Skills

Who will fit:
A Bachelor/Master degree holder in relevant Engineering. 10-15 years’ relevant experience. Extensive technical knowledge on Vestas technology, with strong practical hands on experience as service technician. Strong motivation and ability to train, and experience as technical trainer is preferable. Detailed knowledge and excellent understanding of: Power generation O&M, Asset Lifecycle Management. World class knowledge of asset specific design, construction, operation and failure modes. Motivation to learn extensively wind technology of Chinese WTG manufacturers. Motivation to work by technical assignments/ campaigns with specific targets across the Wind fleet.
