Job Description
Duties and responsibilities
- Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Troubleshooting content issues.
- Conducting WordPress training with the client.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website
- Update and maintain existing website.
Job Requirements
Requirements and qualifications
- 3 to 4 years of development experience with WordPress
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Tailwind
- Strong understanding of PHP development, PHP frameworks and SQL.
- Experience working with a variety of WordPress plugins.
- Experience with Magento and Drupal is a huge bonus.
- Experience in custom WordPress themes and plugin development
- Working knowledge of front and backend development
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
- Desire to learn and take on new challenges.
