Job Description

WEmng is hiring “ Accountant  ” for one of the greatest Entertainment Companies located in El Sheikh Zayed.

The main role is to manage account entries, documents, payments and finances. be handing internal financial transactions as well as transactions with the company’s suppliers. reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain general ledger and prepare month-end close procedures.
Job Responsibilities:-

  • Verifies and reconcile cashiering reports, performs correction procedures as necessary.
  • Compare cash and card receipts to supporting documentation and give feedback to point of sale supervisor.
  • Prepare daily cash reconciliation from previous day point of sale and control cash deposits of all POS’s.
  • Make sure that Cash equal to Sales and mitigate any cash risk.
  • Recording daily sales and cash transactions.
  • Administer all bank transactions and reconciliation and oversee data recording procedures monthly.
  • Analyze different General Ledger accounts regularly.
  • Follow up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received and resolved.
  • Pays vendors by scheduling.
  • Disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation.
  • Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
  • Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description; amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
  • Executing all kinds of Local and foreign payments.
  • Post monthly charges and prepare monthly billing statements, as necessary.
  • Analyses account activity, reconciles accounts and makes adjusting entries from approved budgets.
  • Disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation.
  • Conduct and assist in Monthly closing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/ bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
  • 4 - 6 years applicable accounting/finance experience.
  • Strong command of English.
  • Ability to meet assigned deadline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
