Job Description
- Responsible for all Tendering and Cost Estimation for the Mechanical Trades (HVAC -Firefighting - Plumbing) in MEP projects.
- Studying the provided documents of the Project/Tender like BOQ, Drawings, and Specifications.
- Reviewing the Terms & Conditions of the Tender Draft Contract prior to Tender submission.
- Visit Site and record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability of services such as water and electricity.
- Preparing quantity survey for lump sum project or items to prepare the Bill of Quantities & Material Take Off.
- Sending RFQ’s & Receiving quotations from Vendors, Suppliers, and Subcontractors and Make sure that the quotations comply with the project required and provided Specifications.
- Review Vendors and Supplier’s Quotations to determine the best price and delivery date.
- Prepare Comparison Sheet for rates Quoted by Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors.
- Preparing the Technical & Commercial Proposals as per required at tender documents.
- Engage the preparation & compilation of the necessary documents, information & technical inputs required for the completion of tender documentation.
- Responding to proposals inquiries and clarifications and update the proposals accordingly.
Job Requirements
- BSc. mechanical Engineering
- Good communication skills
- 5+ years of Solid experience with big MEP contractors in HVAC/ FF/ Plumbing systems.
- Experience in Megaprojects.
- Should have worked as a Senior Estimation Engineer (Mechanical) of different MEP tenders for Construction, High Rise, and Mega Infrastructure projects including different Design & quote projects.
- Very Good Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
