Job Description
- Work on daily retrievals and chargebacks in accordance with the Card Scheme rules.
- Answer internal staff, management, and merchants’ inquiries regarding retrieval, chargeback issues, and risk management issues.
- Complete management reporting, informing management of performance and related risk levels of merchants based on retrieval and chargeback volumes and types.
- Monitor merchants’ credit card processing activities using different risk monitoring tools.
- Ability to understand and make recommendations for changes to risk management in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Working with risk detection programs.
- Perform other risk related duties as assigned
- Train and coach the department managers and team leaders about compliance that lead the groups that perform the daily functions.
- Design and implement management reporting to inform management of compliance performance levels of departments.
- Manage multiple priorities, assign appropriate resources, ensure quality, professional work and maintain high standards.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of compliance, merchant and/or payment experience in the financial, ISO or agent environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Card Scheme, Governmental, Banking, and other relevant rules, and regulations.
- Ability to design, review current design, document, and update documented policies in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Microsoft office knowledge is a must with a strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to understand and make recommendations for changes to Risk management.
- Good interpersonal skills and interactions with a wide range of levels across the bank.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Sound judgment, strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- High motivation and attention to detail.
- Resourceful person that can take ownership of actions and initiative.
- Ability to learn quickly and to work both independently and as part of a team.
