Collars is hiring VMware Technical Support Expert for one of the top 10 Digital Transformational Companies
Certifications: VCA/VCTA - VMware Certified Technical Associate.
- Support VMware products deployed in customer networks such as ESXi, vSpere, vCenter, NSX, NSX for vSphere, HorizonDaaS, Workspace One,
- Workspace One UEM Console
- Troubleshooting
- Configuration
- Analyzing and evaluating devices to ensure devices are configured to operate at optimal performance
- Documenting the procedure performed to configure and troubleshoot for further references
- Effective engagement with customers (written & verbal) while ensuring Customer Satisfaction.
- Execute complex
- Service Activities,Remote Support,Optimization
- An escalation resource for less experienced Agents.
- Subject Matter Expert in technology domain.
- Review End to end delivery,Interoperability and Design
Job Requirements
Technical Skills Required:
- Essential: Prior networking /Virtualization experience
- Essential Skills in ANY of below domains (would also help with skill-wise availability / keyword search):
- ESXi/Vsphere
- Basic technology understanding, Configuration and troubleshooting of following platforms -
- ESXI installation, configuration.
- ESXi/Vsphere networking (Standard & Distributed switches)
- VM creation/deployment and use features such as Vmotion and manage Snapshots
- Configuration of ISCSI/SAN configuration in ESXI host and know basics of VSAN.
- vCenter Server Architecture, Installation and Management.
- Understanding of Vsphere HA, FT and DRS in a cluster.
- vSphere Update Manager and Host Maintenance
- Any experience with Hyper-V, Xenserver, KVM
- NSX for vSphere 6.4.X
- Fundamentals Of ESXi/Vsphere networking (standard & Distributed switches)
- NSX Architecture & NSX Manager
- VXLAN and Logical Switching
- Routing protocols (BGP/OSPF)
- Distributed Logical Routing & Firewall.
- Layer 2 Bridging
- NSX Edge Network and Security Services (VPN, NAT, Load Balancer, Firewall, etc.)
- NSX distributed firewall.
- Any experience with Cisco ACI, Nutanix Flow
- Horizon DaaS
- Fundamentals Of ESXi, Vsphere
- VMware Horizon Desktops: Create a Windows and a Linux VMs.
- VMware Horizon Agent, VMware Horizon Pools
- Create and Manage Instant-Clone Desktop Pools
- Workspace ONE Access and Virtual Application Management
- Horizon Protocols: Knowledge about BLAST protocol
- Horizon Security: Secure/Use Horizon connections, Using Unified Access Gateway
- Any Experience with Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp
- VCP - VMware Certified Professional
- VCAP - VMware Certified Advanced Professional
- VMware Certified Instructor
- Excellent English communication (especially Verbal) skills
- Expertise in at least 2-3 VMware Products
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree
