Job Description
- Execute statistical modeling software & Review resulting statistical forecast model
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
- Monitor and report for any important changes in the forecasts
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
- Monitor the monthly price variances across the Group by item code, to be compared with LY and Business Plan
- Maintain inventory levels based on future & historical demands
- Follow up the deviations of materials consumption rate and take corrective actions where necessary
- Monitoring group purchases and monitoring purchasing trends compared to previous purchase price
- Monitors the flow of scrap materials and slow-moving items
- Evaluates the performance by calculating the turnover ratio and availability of materials
- Determining the quantities that must be purchased to maintain inventory levels
- Analysis of any new tenders and any deals for companies with relevant proper analysis that will be reported to supply chain management
- Responsible for the annual business plan process across the group, by providing the hospital purchasing team with the necessary reports & data analysis
- Responsible for Tenders’ data preparation and related analysis
- Responsible to analyze the monthly stock levels vs. budget with all related justifications and summary reports
- Responsible to approve any new item master across the group
- Responsible to approve any new supplier across the group
- Reviewing a monthly selling reports to be compared to the agreed scheme across the group.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields
- 1-3 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Detail oriented.
