Job Description

The Customer Success EDI Analyst will serve as a primary interface to clients for Datex. You will work closely with clients and internal team members to build relationships with all relevant stakeholders as a trusted partner. You must have a strong understanding of our customer’s business objectives and the ability to identify and articulate how our solution supports achievement of the Customers’ operational business goals. Addressing customers’ needs and issues, and managing day-to-day operational items, are paramount.

 Responsibilities

  •  Coordinate and work with the Customer Success team on new and existing EDI initiatives for our clients.
  • Assist the CSMs in conducting requirement gathering meetings with the client for EDI specifics of files and fields.
  • Provide advice and education to clients concerning EDI guidelines and capabilities.
  • Create, develop, and produce mapping documents.
  • Translate Business Requirements into functional maps using Excel and Altova MapForce.
  • Collaborate with programmers and internal staff to develop and test new or modified systems.
  • Develop and maintain communication links with trading partners and oversee the integration of information within the project scope and parameters as required by the project.
  • Periodically review the system to ensure client needs are met; identify possible modifications.
  • Remain current regarding EDI and internet field technological developments.
  • Provide training to clients or Datex team members on EDI system use.
  • Set up new trading partners and mapping assets in BizTalk or Azure EDI platforms.
  • Provide technical production support and UAT-deployed EDI transactions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 
  • EDI Client Engagements 
  • Confirm that the project has been funded and/or identified as one that will be billed post-implementation.
  • Update the original AT ticket with the progress of the project. We should be able to provide an estimated timeline and project plan. 
  • This must include dates and dependencies (the ACSMs can facilitate this – the EDI Analyst will be in more of an advisory role).
  • Create a corresponding DevOps ticket and assign it to the corresponding team and resource(s)

Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 8 years EDI mapping and project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Altova MapForce is a plus .
  • Solid understanding of AS2 and other security protocols.
  • Extensive experience with 800 and 900 series X12 transaction sets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in software programming, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product, CSM, Marketing, Services) (Internally & Externally).
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of EDI formats and Internet functions
  • Creative problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting are required to design a system that meets clients’ needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A Logistics (specifically warehouse management) background would be a plus.
  • Basic Project Management, task assignment, and follow-up abilities.
  • Experience working with complex, multi-divisional, multi-geographical customers
