Job Description
- Managing multipleMEP projects
- Ensuring thereare minimal problems from the design to the delivery stage.
- Using projectmanagement software, AutoCAD,and word processing programs to createMEP plans.
- Review technicaloffice process (shop drawing, QS, list of drawing and tender).
- Preparing cost estimates for electrical, plumbing,air conditioning, heatingand ventilation systems.
- Overseeing the work of the projectmanagement team and ensuring adherenceto the project schedule.
- Coordinating on-sitework with architects, structural engineers and MEP engineers.
- Providing MEP systeminstallation, maintenance and technical adviceto service providers, supervisors, and inspectors
- Inspecting, analyzing, and finding solutions for engineering issuesrelated to the MEP features.
- Reviewing and evaluating the work of contractors, consultants, and other construction industry professionals
- Reviewing contractor drawings and installation method statements to ensure they comply with the MEP design plan.
- Making technicalclarifications to resolvecoordination issues and design modifications to suit specific on-site construction requirements.
- Monitoring and maintaining on-sitehealth and safetypolicies and explaining the necessity of complying with these to the crew.
- Undertaking off-siteinspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and project suitability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Electrical, Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 7 yearsof MEP project management experience with reputable entities
- Site Executionis A Must.
- Expert In both electrical and mechanical works(Fire Fighting, HVAC, Plumbing, Power, Lighting, Light Current)
- Experience in Technical Office (Shop drawing,Invoices & QS) Tendering/Procurement.
- Possess excellentcommunication and organizational skills.
- Excellent commandof English.
