Job Description
- Producing sheet metal products according to manufacturing orders received.
- Creating a production plan to deliver the required products within the required timelines.
- Overseeing the production process of the welding and metal assembly
- Communicating and resolving any issues with the technical design team.
- Monitoring and improving productivity of the workshops.
- Studying and Proposing ways to improve quality standards and manufacturing processes.
- Ensuring production follows and achieves quality standards.
- Preparing and releasing work orders to the workshops based on received manufacturing orders.
- Submitting purchasing requests in a timely manner to the purchasing department based on material needs.
- Supervising and overseeing the implementation of the production plan with workshop supervisors.
- Solving workshop problems with supervisors and overseeing the implementation of those solutions.
- Preparing and submitting periodical production reports to the plant manager.
- Preparing and submitting periodical worker evaluations.
- Operating and deliver the required drawings for the cnc laser cutting machine
Job Requirements
- Males
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering
- 1-2 years works experience (Experience in similar industries is an asset)
- Proficiency in using Windows, Microsoft office suite and AutoCAD and Solid works
- Important Characteristics and Skills: Diligence, Honesty, Ability to work under pressure, strong communication skills and ability to work independently or part of a team.
- Experience in working with cnc laser cutting machine is a plus
- Experience in welding and metal furniture fabrication is a plus
